Welcome to the TWiST List for Oct. 22-Nov. 4

This week, we want to share with you all a letter we received from TWiST Backchannel member Sue Marrone. If all of the TWI Network viewers have gotten half of what Sue's gotten from our shows, well, that would make us very proud indeed. "Dear Jason,
I know you have asked us to tweet our thank you to all of your sponsor partners, and though I have, and I have left comments at the end of various shows, and I joined the producers group, it all just didn’t seem enough, so I decided to write you to tell you how appreciative I am to you for your network.

The show values have been almost too much to mention but let me give you some examples:

• This Week in Start Ups, Patent episode:  My partner and I have just filed our Provisional Patent Application. I asked my attorney to give me some examples or starting points on what I had to do next. This show saved me at least one hour of consulting
• Term sheets explained on This Week in Venture Capital : That show is a gold mine. Thank you Mark Suster, and for ALL of your episodes.
• I was on “Ask Jason” (show #85) and personally gave my thank you to Jason Nasar at one of his meet-ups.
• This Week in Web Design:  Being a Drupal user and Agile enthusiast I am glued to every episode to watch their progress. I am so disappointed I can’t make it to his workshops.
• I just got into This Week in Social Media, and have forwarded Robert Tercek's “The Information Tsunami" episode to an array of friends.

Just the volume of information over the past two years from all of these shows has been utter amazing and valuable.

And I am happy to say that your shows have extended beyond me. I told my insurance broker friends about Hiscox and they are now in discussions to represent Hiscox at one of the more important incubator houses in Cleveland, Ohio.

Periodically I help small businesses and have made them all customers of Mail Chimp, Square Space, GoToMeeting, Carbonite and Survey Monkey.

As a former Angelino, now living in Cleveland, Ohio, I’m so sorry I can’t get to the great conferences you are producing.  I do fly out periodically and I hope I can catch one in the future.
