DNAmail Helps Seal The Deal

Brad Jashinsky a long time listener of This Week In Startups, took a little risk and it's paid off handsomely.

Brad is the owner of Power On Consulting, a southern CA. based IT consulting company.  The company started out as a consumer repair company (Simicomputers.com), a fill-in while Brad was between jobs while working in the gaming industry.  If you've ever played Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, Dungeons and Dragons: Dragonshard or Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring you've seen his work.  Through word-of-mouth and great customer service he rebranded his company, stepped away from the gaming industry and has grown the company into a B2B consulting company focusing on small and mid-sized businesses.

Today's cost conscious businesses are continually looking for efficiencies and that's where Brad's company comes in.  Often non-technical businesses are looking to replace or downsize IT departments or reduce costs of current technologies.  Companies like DNAmail fit perfectly by providing a great product at a fraction of the cost.  Brad recently cemented a relationship with a 50+ person company, in part because he switched the company over to DNAmail.

This sounds like an easy thing to do, Brad was familiar with DNAmail from the show but had never used their service.  He has maintained mail exchange servers in the past and understands the time sink involved and never enjoyed the 2am call to work on a server.  He was neutral regarding DNAmail but with such an important client on the line he was concerned with the risk, he hadn't talked to anyone who used them, but neither had he heard anything bad either.  So he switched services and for two months maintained a back-up server and no one noticed the difference, except one individual, the CFO.  By switching over to DNAmail he was able to save the company $12,000 a year, helping solidify his relationship with his new client.

Lesson learned, even an IT professional recognizes the benefits of using DNAmail.
