Jason's guest this week is Shawn Gold, CEO of online invitation startup, Cocodot.  Shawn has helped form and run some of the biggest web properties including MySpace (where he was CMO) and Weblogs, Inc (where he was the President, and where he and Jason worked together).  Cocodot, which launched at TechCrunch50 2009, is setting out to revolutionize the way that people are invited to online events.  It combines the best of both offline invites (beautiful designs) and online systems (functionality and affordability) for a totally new approach to invites for high end events.  Tune in to see what Shawn's inspiration was and how he's built the company so far.  you can also head over to Cocodot now and try it out for yourself (its in public beta).
