No Passion = No Startup
However, one major component of his business was lacking, passion, somewhere along the way he lost it for MyFaceShirt. He commented, that recognizing his business lacked scale, the key component to making it big, may have been the catalyst. Having just read Gary Vaynerchuk's book Crush It he knew without passion, his business was doomed. The good thing is, he recognized the problem and has moved on. Don't feel sorry for Anthony he has another idea in the works and I promised that we'd keep it under wraps till he is ready to go public, so stay tuned. Anthony did comment if you are interested in the domain to please contact him at myfaceshirt (at) gmail (dot) com.
I think it took a lot of courage for Anthony to admit, he lost the passion for his idea, I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar experience and what did you learn? I know many investors have commented in show, that they prefer to invest in someone who has been around the block once and failed, do you think this counts as Anthony's first failure?

@Charles - yep short-term is hard - see GV.
Everyone need a network of friends who are supportive for these hours. A loner can't make it in thought business world, even CEOs haver their support system. Managers have support system. Employees have a support system. Each different, but there and necessary to survive the hard days.
Try to build a support system, local, look for an mentor - doesn't need to be the Mayor of California. Go into the mom and pa shop you always go, business people in your town, even if its the plummer. It is a beginning, go from there.
